Public Service Process Mimic Diagrams are the visible proof of Real Time Government at work

Process Diagrams act as a guide to method and process. Statistics on the current state and performance of the system are displayed and easily accessed from the mimic diagram- like a Power Station Control Room or signal box on the railway.

The final form of the Public Service Process Diagram will be the outcome of much work. Some preliminary examples are shown to give a flavour of the range of options. A click will produce a drop down box for more detail and recent history. In due course top-level diagrams can unpack into lower level Best Practice diagrams describing eg Lesson plans in school and diagnostic procedures in Medicine. The Real Time collection of performance and transaction data will, in some cases for the first time, establish which processes produce the best results. Form filling can be replaced by automatic database reporting.
